Spare Hymns has ended many times.

These songs came to me too fast, seemed too personal, each had a simplicity I wasn't sure would translate to anyone but myself.  Sometimes, when writing from a personal place, we assume an experience is entirely our own, unrelatable to those who haven't lived it; forgetting the billions of other stories like ours occurring all at once.  How many of us have people in our lives we should call more, loves to embrace, homes we can't wait to return to, countless tiny parts of daily routine that stitch our lives together.  It's in these small details, these Spare Hymns, that I'm hoping to bring my inner world into the outer and reach those seeking a connection with their own stray threads.
